The Nexus Experience

The Nexus Experience is a self-help faith-based organization that provides opportunity to individuals in need of reclaiming their life. Participants have an opportunity to transition from a lifestyle lost in addiction or crisis into a more significant standard of living, regardless of language, status, ethnicity or culture.

We encourage individuals to explore their spirituality, and broaden their intellectual understanding of what contributes to a focused addiction free life.

This Faith-based program offers a holistic approach, encompassing the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of the individual. It will provide education and training on subjects such as, alcohol and drug addiction; life skills, the freedom of forgiving others and anger management. The meeting’s use of visual illustrations and historical application enhance the educational aspect for each participant. Participants will obtain problem-solving tools that are relevant to their lives. Participants will also explore the elements required to build positive family relationships by investigating the cause and effect of ones’ anger and how to use it in a constructive and creative manner.

Through the positive input of dedicated and trained staff, meetings, special speakers and social gatherings, we are rebuilding our communities’ one individual at a time. Removing labels and helping people become.

Release and Refocus

Release and Refocus pivots on Bible principles that help a person release life’s disappointments and bitterness. Through the application of Bible principles, a person can learn to release life’s negative experiences and emotions.
With negativism defeated, a person can embrace positive thoughts, actions, and emotions. By releasing negative emotions and embracing positive outlooks, a person lives a productive life that affects him/herself and others with many positive outcomes.

The Word of God offers a person the needed power to overcome the scars, bruises, and wounds inflicted by a relentless, insensitive generation. True deliverance accompanies those who receive the assistance and grace to “Release & Refocus”.

Reclaiming Reality

Negative experiences of life tend to destroy reality. The everyday realities of God, Life, relationships, work health, and meaning litter the path taken by destructive lifestyles. Unfortunately, huge numbers of people are on an adventure to find some unknown ultimate experience or euphoria, regardless of how far out their destination may be or how many lives are ruined in the process.

An individual must deal with self, must come to the point of responsibility and connected to a power stronger than ones own. The Reclaiming Reality curriculum reestablishes truths that have always worked. Instructors will endeavor to assist participants in putting together the puzzle of their lives, where things are in their proper perspective. However, it will take honesty, time and commitment to change.

Anger Management

In a classroom setting using a curriculum based workbook, we explore the cause and effect of anger. The workbook will lead participants through a journey of self discovery. We address skills and techniques needed to not only control anger, but to use it in a constructive and creative manner.

About Us

Our qualified instructors come from various walks of life. All are trained and have a passion to help others. Some, at one time were addicts and come with experiences from their own past, others have lost loved ones to additions.

Our 52 week program not only instructs in effective ways to be released from the wounds of negative experiences but refocuses on building a fresh and new tomorrow. The Nexus Experience is an effective alternative to Alcoholics’ Anonymous and Narcotics’ Anonymous. It is faith based and it is confidential. Participants are offered the hope of attaining 100% recovery. Chemical dependency and other proclivities are not diseases. We remove the label of addicted and point participants towards a fulfilling relationship with God. We offer a safe place to experience transition and complete deliverance through the simple steps taught in these classes.

If you are willing, healing and permanent recovery is available. II Corinthians 5:15 states, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: Old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.”
